Based in Houston, Texas (USA), this 12-piece musical group performs music from the 30's, 40's and 50's by such bands as Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Harry James, Artie Shaw and others. The band features an experienced conductor leading a traditional big band structure, including 4 woodwind players (saxophones/clarinet), 4 brass players (trumpets & trombones), a rhythm section (including drums, bass, and piano), and a female vocalist.Together for over 20 years, the band has over 300 selections of big band and swing music, and is available to play for private parties, weddings and other special functions.
